Anna Pearson was many things to many people—a loving mother to two boys, a devoted wife, a sister, a daughter, a neighbour, and a dear friend. She was also an Educational Assistant and a dedicated volunteer soccer coach with the Beaumont Soccer Association for five consecutive years. Anna poured her heart into everything she did, especially when it came to supporting children and bringing her community together.
Her superpower was connection. Anna had a remarkable gift for gathering people—whether on the sidelines of a soccer field, in a classroom, or among friends and family. She created spaces where people felt seen, supported, and part of something bigger.
In September 2025, Anna lost her battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, strength, and community.
This tournament is a reflection of who she was. Soccer was one of the many ways Anna connected with her sons and with others, making it a fitting way to honour her life. Through this event, we carry forward her spirit by bringing people together for two important causes: raising funds for cancer research, and supporting children and families who have experienced the loss of an immediate family member—offering both financial assistance and meaningful opportunities to help them move forward.
This is more than a tournament. This is Anna’s love, still bringing us together.
