FAQ's
What is permitted on the outdoor turf field?
Tents, spikes, pegs, tables, or chairs etc. are NOT PERMITTED on the turf. This is considered a serious safety and facility concern that may cause significant damage to the turf.
What clothing and/or equipment does my child need to play soccer?
- Players receive a jersey, shorts, and socks from BSA.
- Shin pads are mandatory for all practices and games.
- Indoor/turf shoes are recommended for indoor; outdoor cleats are not allowed on indoor turf.
- Cleats are recommended for the outdoor season.
- Players should bring a labeled water bottle.
- Jewelry is not permitted during play.
- Prescription sports glasses/goggles are allowed; sunglasses are not.
- Hard casts are prohibited; padded soft casts/braces may be allowed with referee approval.
- Sports hijabs are permitted following safety inspection.
- Soccer gear can be purchased at local sporting goods stores.
