What is Technical ...

Beaumont Soccer Association’s Technical Sessions are designed to supplement team training by focusing on individual player development in a structured, age-appropriate environment. Sessions typically emphasize core technical skills such as dribbling, ball control, first touch, passing and receiving, turning, shielding, and shooting, while also introducing small-sided decision-making activities that help players apply those skills under pressure. Training is delivered through progressive drills, skill stations, and game-based exercises led by qualified coaches, with an emphasis on repetition, confidence building, movement, coordination, and enjoyment of the game. The program is intended to provide additional touches on the ball and focused instruction that supports each player’s growth within their regular team environment.

Beaumont Soccer Association’s Goalkeeper Technical Program is designed to provide specialized training for players interested in developing the unique skills required to play in goal. Sessions focus on age-appropriate goalkeeper techniques, including handling, catching, diving, footwork, positioning, shot-stopping, distribution, and communication. Through a combination of technical drills, game-realistic scenarios, and progressive skill development, goalkeepers gain confidence and improve their decision-making, agility, and overall understanding of the position. The program complements regular team training by offering dedicated goalkeeper instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment.

All technical sessions are led by Beaumont Soccer Association's Technical Team. Space is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
